PARIS, Nov 10 (Reuters) - French industry reported a decline in production in September, weighed down by a sharp drop in car manufacturing and falls in some categories of semi-finished goods, statistics office INSEE said on Monday.
Industrial output shrank 0.5 percent month-on-month in September following an unrevised 0.4 percent fall in August, INSEE said. The drop was slightly less sharp than the 0.6 percent decline expected by economists polled by Reuters.
