Fuji Heavy to Double U.S. Subaru Capacity - Nikkei


Oct 23 (Reuters) - Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd plans to double the production capacity of Subaru cars in the United States to cater to growing demand for the sport utility vehicle in the North American market, the Nikkei reported. Fuji Heavy's subsidiary Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc produces 270,000 cars a year at a plant in the U.S. state of Indiana, the business daily said.
