OTTAWA, June 21 (Reuters) - Statistics Canada issued the following data on Tuesday: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Retail trade April 2005 Retail sales resurged 1.5% in April to $30.9 billion, a level 8.2% higher than in the same month of 2004. Previously, consumer spending in retail stores had paused in March (+0.1%) after showing vigorous strength in the first two months of 2005, with gains of 1.6% in February and 2.1% in January. ...
