Garman car sales fall 6 percent in March -VDA

FRANKFURT, April 3 (Reuters) - New car registrations in Germany fell 6 percent in March to 338,000 units, the VDA auto industry association said on Tuesday.

Registrations in the first quarter of the year fell 10 percent to 720,900 units.

VDA last month cut its forecast for the new car market in Germany to 3.3 million units from its original 3.4 million target given weak sales at the first of the year following a three-point rise in German value-added tax at the start of ...
