Geely, Manganese Bronze seal China car JV pact

HONG KONG, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. sealed an agreement with Manganese Bronze Holdings Plc. on Thursday to set up a US$54.3 million venture to produce London taxis in China from mid-2008, under which the Chinese firm would become the British company's top shareholder.

Geely would take two board seats and 23 percent of Manganese Bronze, becoming its largest shareholder, executives said.
