HONG KONG, April 8 (Reuters) - Chinese car maker Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. said March sales surged 99 percent from the previous month and 12 percent from the same period last year, spurred by strong demand for higher-priced models.
Geely said in a statement that its two associates sold a total of 11,973 vehicles in March, including 2,347 Maple sedans and 9,626 Geely sedans.
