GenCorp posts quarterly loss vs year-ago profit


NEW YORK, March 31 (Reuters) - GenCorp Inc. , which makes components and systems for the automotive and aerospace industries, posted a quarterly loss due to lower results in its GDX Automotive unit and noncash expenses of $14 million from its employee retirement plan.
