GenCorp says to buy Sequa's rocket propulsion unit

NEW YORK, May 5 (Reuters) - GenCorp Inc. , which makes components and systems for the automotive and aerospace industries, on Monday said it would buy the rocket propulsion business of Sequa Corp. for $133 million to expand its space and defense business lines.

Sequa's Atlantic Research Corp., or ARC, unit had about $150 million in sales in 2002. The deal, which includes a stake in ARC UK Ltd., should close in the summer and would be financed by issuing new debt, the companies ...
