WASHINGTON, Sept 5 (Reuters) - U.S. automaker General Motors Corp. filed on Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission to periodically sell up to $10 billion worth of debt securities and stock.
Net proceeds from the offering will used for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment, the company said in a shelf registration filing.
