SHANGHAI, Jan 5 (Reuters) - U.S. auto giant General Motors Corp said on Monday sales in China last year surged an annual 46.4 percent as the company benefited from a rapidly accelerating car market.
The company sold 386,710 vehicles in 2003 in China, it said in a statement, and had surpassed 2002's figure before the end of September.
