ZEELAND, Mich., Oct 15 (Reuters) - Automotive supplier Gentex Corp. reported a 44 percent jump in quarterly income on higher shipments of its popular rearview mirrors.
The company, whose mirrors dim automatically to cut headlight glare, said it had added significant new business supplying mid-sized vehicles and is shipping more mirrors with advanced electronic features such as map lamps and compasses.
