DETROIT, April 22 (Reuters) - Auto parts supplier Gentex Corp posted a 3 percent rise in quarterly profit on Tuesday on solid demand for automatic-dimming rearview mirrors.
Net income rose to $30.4 million in the first quarter from $29.5 million a year earlier. Earnings per share were flat at 21 cents compared with a year earlier.
Revenue rose 13 percent to a record $178.0 million in January-March. (Reporting by Soyoung Kim, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
