CHICAGO, April 15 (Reuters) - Genuine Parts Co. , the distributor of NAPA automotive replacement parts, said on Thursday its quarterly earnings rose as the improving economy lifted results in all four of its business units.
The Atlanta-based company said first-quarter net income increased to $100.2 million, or 57 cents a share, from $68.9 million, or 39 cents a share, in the same period a year earlier.
