CHICAGO, July 15 (Reuters) - Genuine Parts Co. , the distributor of NAPA automotive replacement parts, on Thursday reported higher quarterly earnings, helped by the improving economy.
Atlanta-based Genuine Parts, which also distributes industrial replacement parts and office products, said second-quarter net income rose to $101.1 million, or 58 cents a share, from $90.1 million, or 52 cents a share, a year earlier.
