FRANKFURT, Sept 8 (Reuters) - The VDA German automobile association said on Sunday new car registrations fell three percent year-on-year to 248,000 in Germany in August.
August production dropped three percent to 378,100, while exports fell three percent to 260,900.
That brings total new car registrations for the year-to-date to 2.22 million.
