BERLIN, July 13 (Reuters) - German automakers have agreed to fit filters on all diesel cars, which will be able to profit from tax incentives on clean diesel from 2005, Germany's environment ministry said on Tuesday.
"That is the result of the talks between the chancellor and the automobile industry," the ministry said in a statement.
Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder was in Stuttgart on Tuesday to attend a car industry congress.
