German bank KfW rejects Porsche loan request -paper

FRANKFURT, June 19 (Reuters) - German state bank KfW [KFW.UL] has rejected Porsche's request for a 1.75 billion euro ($2.44 billion) loan, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported on Friday, citing KfW sources.

The paper said KfW had ruled that Porsche did not fulfil the criteria for a state loan but that it could resubmit its request. The final decision on the loan comes from a German government panel.

Porsche and KfW were not immediately available for comment. ...
