STUTTGART, Germany, May 6 (Reuters) - Demand for new cars in Europe's largest economy remained weak in April, Germany's VDA auto industry association said on Tuesday, but it stuck to its full-year forecast, saying the market appeared to be stable.
"April will not have brought us the longed-for improvement in the car market," VDA chief Bernd Gottschalk told reporters at a conference in Stuttgart.
