BERLIN, May 14 (Reuters) - A worldwide collapse in sales of German cars is showing signs of slowing, the president of the VDA German automobile industry association said on Thursday. European car sales fell by 12 percent on the year in April, the VDA said on Thursday, though the association said this was in part attributable to a later Easter holiday and lower number of workdays.
