FRANKFURT, Sept 2 (Reuters) - German incentives that pay motorists 2,500 euros ($3,590) to scrap old cars if they buy new ones -- a major factor in a car sales boom this year -- will run out as soon as Wednesday.
There was enough money in the 5 billion euro pot to finance 4,169 more applications, the Bafa government agency that runs the programme said.
