HANOVER, Germany, June 12 (Reuters) - German coachbuilder Karmann will cut 1,250 of around 5,200 jobs at its main assembly plant in Osnabrueck this year amid slumping sales, the company and its works council said on Monday.
Europe's biggest manufacturer of convertible cars saw sales shrink 31 percent to 1.9 billion euros ($2.40 billion) last year. The privately held company did not disclose 2005 profits.
