FRANKFURT, May 15 (Reuters) - German tyre and automotive supplier Continental AG has secured nearly half of rival Phoenix AG's stock, after it launched a takeover offer in March, Continental said on Saturday.
The firm said in an advertisement in a German newspaper that it had secured 45.46 percent of Phoenix's shares by Friday.
