FRANKFURT, April 12 (Reuters) - Crude steel production in Germany leaped 91.5 percent in March from the same month last year to 3.958 million tonnes, its highest since September 2008 as the sector roared out of a deep economic slump.
Figures released by the German Steel Federation on Monday showed crude steel output up by just under half in the first quarter to 10.868 million tonnes.
