BERLIN, Dec 11 (Reuters) - German employers warned on Sunday that jobs were at stake as engineering union IG Metall prepared to unveil its initial demand for the 2006 pay round on Monday.
In an interview with Welt am Sonntag newspaper, Heike Maria Kunstmann of Germany's Gesamtmetall employers' organisation, said it was not realistic for IG Metall to consider wage rises above productivity gains, which she put at 1.2 percent.
