PFORZHEIM, Germany, Feb 12 (Reuters) - German industrial union IG Metall and engineering sector employers have reached a regional pay deal that is likely to avert a looming strike, an employer representative said on Thursday.
The deal was reached after more than 17 hours of talks in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, whose pay deals are typically adopted by most other German regions. Details are to be announced shortly.
