BERLIN, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Germany's ruling coalition has agreed on a new reform of car tax, coalition sources said on Monday.
The reform, aimed at boosting sales of environmentally friendly cars, is part of the government's stimulus package agreed earlier in the month.
The agreement between Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives and the Social Demcocrats means car owners will pay tax according to their vehicles' CO2 emissions as well as the engine size.
