FRANKFURT, July 8 (Reuters) - New car registrations in Germany, Europe's largest car market, fell five percent to 292,000 in June, bringing the year-to-date decline to just one percent, auto industry association VDA said on Tuesday.
Strikes by east German engineering workers meant production last month fell 19 percent to 386,900 vehicles, while exports fell 19 percent to 271,000, VDA said in a statement.
