German Nov industry orders revised up to 2.8 pct m/m

BERLIN, Jan 22 (Reuters) - German manufacturing orders in November were revised up to show an increase of 2.8 percent month-on-month, beating a previously reported gain of 0.2 percent, the Economy Ministry said on Friday.

In a statement, the ministry said the revision was the result of a correction to the volume of investment goods ordered from outside the euro zone. The Statistics Office said this was linked to orders booked in the automobile industry.
