BERLIN, Dec 4 (Reuters) - German unemployment rose to its highest November level in five years, sources said ahead of the jobless data due out on Wednesday, more depressing news for Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder as his popularity plunges.
Unemployment in Europe's largest economy rose by a seasonally adjusted 35,000 during November, a source who had seen Federal Labour Office figures told Reuters on Tuesday. The Labour Office is due to release jobs data at about 0850 GMT.
