BERLIN, Aug 14 (Reuters) - The German federation of goods transporters believes Germany's much-delayed highway truck toll will not start as currently planned on January 1, 2005, a newspaper said on Saturday.
Bild quoted the BGL federation's chief Karl-Heinz Schmidt saying that the January 1 deadline was not within reach as the Toll Collect consortium had not supplied enough on-board computers for installation in trucks.
