Germans buying one of every 10 cars sold in Poland

WARSAW, April 9 (Reuters) - Germans buyers are snapping up one out of every 10 cars sold in neighbouring Poland thanks to currency movements and the Berlin government's incentives, the Deloitte consultancy said on Thursday.

Some 1.2 million German consumers applied for a 2,500 euro cash payment for scrapping old cars in favour of more efficient new ones, a number well ahead of budgeted expectations.
