BERLIN, June 1 (Reuters) - A snooping scandal engulfing Europe's biggest telecoms company Deutsche Telekom AG threatens to damage the image of Germany as a business location, senior officials warned on Sunday.
German prosecutors are investigating the company after it acknowledged it had illegally monitored phone call records in 2005, amid allegations Telekom had targeted board members and journalists to stop media leaks.
