BERLIN, Nov 24 (Reuters) - The German government is exploring the possibility of issuing "consumption vouchers" worth 500 euros to stimulate growth, according to a report to appear in Tuesday's Handelsblatt newspaper.
But a Finance Ministry spokesman called the report nonsense.
"If the instruments we've already passed are not sufficient, we'll support the economy with further billions," a top government official was quoted telling the business daily.
