BERLIN, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Germany is to extend controls on the sale of companies involved in producing military equipment after cabinet approved the order on Monday, the Economy Ministry said in a statement.
Acquisitions by foreign investors of German companies involved in manufacturing arms is already subject to reporting orders and can be blocked by the government on grounds of national interest.
