BERLIN, June 2 (Reuters) - Germany must carefully weigh arguments for providing state aid for Arcandor , including assessing whether the retailer's shareholders could help, Finance Minister Peer Steinbrueck said. Shares in Arcandor rose on Monday, with traders saying politicians' comments had sparked hopes the company's efforts to obtain more than $1 billion of state aid would bear fruit.
