Germany not to tax biodiesel fully till 2011-source

Newswire

BERLIN, June 26 (Reuters) - Germany does not plan to tax pure biodiesel fully until 2011, a source in the ruling coalition of conservatives and Social Democrats (SPD) said on Monday.

The government had hitherto planned to impose the same levy on biodiesel as applied to fossil diesel from 2009.

A coalition source told Reuters that a deal had been struck between the SPD and the conservatives to wait until 2011.
