Germany plans rise in motorway truck tolls-sources

BERLIN, June 16 (Reuters) - The German government is planning to raise its motorway and road tolls next year for heavy vehicles by more than 25 percent, government sources told Reuters on Monday.

The increase to an average of 17 cents per kilometre from a current 13.5 cents would raise an additional 800 million euros ($1.23 billion) in fees to be used primarily for road construction projects, the sources said.
