BERLIN, July 1 (Reuters) - The German transport ministry said on Thursday it was seeking around 3.7 billion euros from the Toll Collect consortium over the delayed introduction of a planned highway truck toll.
Germany's plans to launch a toll for trucks to use its highways, the busiest in Europe, has been plagued with problems that have pushed back the toll's introduction three times. The government now hopes to introduce tolls in 2005.
