FRANKFURT, Nov 5 (Reuters) - German specialty chemicals group Altana posted an 18 percent rise in nine-month core profit thanks in part to rising sales of additives and pigments for use in paint and packaging industries.
Altana said on Monday earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) were 192 million euros ($278 million) on the back of 7 percent increase in sales.
