FRANKFURT, Aug 2 (Reuters) - Germany's BMW , the world's biggest premium carmaker, increased second-quarter pretax profit by a third, the company said on Wednesday, clearly beating market expectations.
Earnings before tax rose to 1.232 billion euros ($1.57 billion), easily better than the average estimate of 1.043 billion from 25 analysts in a Reuters poll.
