Germany's ewt buys Bosch cable TV assets

FRANKFURT, Dec 10 (Reuters) - German cable operator ewt agreed to buy rival BN Breitbandnetze, a unit of engineering conglomerate Robert Bosch [RBOG.UL] to create one of Germany's biggest cable companies, ewt said on Friday.

Ewt said the new company would provide television to 2 million households, and would be the second-biggest of the cable operators which own the "last mile" of the cable that goes ...
