FRANKFURT, Feb 11 (Reuters) - German engineering group MAN is interested in acquiring DaimlerChrysler's MTU Friedrichshafen diesel motor unit, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported, citing company sources.
Officials at MAN and Daimler were not immediately available for comment on the report, a summary of which was released ahead of publication on Saturday.
