Global auto output may fall 30 pct due to quake-IHS

DETROIT, March 24 (Reuters) - A shortage of auto parts stemming from Japan's earthquake may cut global vehicle output by 30 percent within six weeks in a worst-case scenario, research firm IHS Automotive said on Thursday.
