Hino, Guangzhou China JV to start output in 2009


TOKYO, Dec 18 (Reuters) - Japanese truck maker Hino Motors Ltd said on Tuesday it formed a joint venture company in China with Guangzhou Automobile Group and aimed to begin production of commercial vehicles in mid-2009. The 50-50 venture would be capitalised at 1.5 billion yuan ($200 million), Hino, the truck unit of Toyota Motor Corp , said in a statement. (Reporting by Chang-Ran Kim)
