TOKYO, July 26 (Reuters) - Japan's Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. , a rival of Caterpillar Inc. , lifted its full-year guidance on Thursday, saying robust demand for excavators in Asia and Europe will likely offset the impact of a slowdown in the U.S. housing market.
