With straggler BMW of North America LLC reporting in today, January’s U.S. light-vehicle sales tally is official at 1,039,798, Ward’s data shows. The performance marked a 4.4% decline from year-ago’s 1,087,368, with both periods having the same number (25) of selling days. January’s results translated into a 15.18 million seasonally adjusted annual rate, well off year-ago’s 16.60 million. ADVERTISEMENT
