Hyundai Motor targets 590,000 U.S. sales in 2011


SEOUL, Jan 27 (Reuters) - South Korea's Hyundai Motor aims to sell 590,000 vehicles in the United States this year, Hyundai CFO Lee Won-hee told analysts on Thursday. This would be nearly a 10 percent rise from last year's 538,228 sales in the United States, company data showed. Lee also expected the automaker to achieve solid profits this year, after posting robust 2010 results. (Reporting by Hyunjoo Jin; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
