NEW DELHI, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Escorts Ltd., India's third largest tractor maker, expects a 47 percent jump in unit sales this fiscal year to March as two years of steady farm output in India fuels demand, a top company official said on Thursday.
Escorts , which trails market leader Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and Punjab Tractors Ltd. in the world's biggest tractor market, reported a 64.7 percent rise in sales in the first half of this fiscal year to 16,769 tractors.
