NEW DELHI, Oct 26 (Reuters) - India's top motorcycle maker, Hero Honda Motors Ltd. , fell 2.6 percent to 729.8 rupees in early trade on Thursday after it had reported a bigger-than-expected 9.2 percent fall in quarterly profit.
New Delhi-based Hero Honda said on Wednesday that second-quarter net profit fell to 2.16 billion rupees ($47.6 million) from 2.38 billion a year earlier, and lagged a forecast for 2.21 billion rupees in a Reuters poll of 10 analysts.
