NEW DELHI, July 18 (Reuters) - Indian domestic passenger car sales rose 5.1 percent in June to 42,343 units from 40,292 units in the same month last year, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) said on Thursday.
SIAM said in a statement that domestic car sales in April-June, the first quarter of the current financial year, fell to 114,770 units from 124,139 in the year-ago period.
